Robert and Judith live on Innerarity point in West Pensacola. Robert is a lifelong resident of Pensacola and Judith Moved to the area in the early 80's. They love the outdoors, especially everything coastal. This reflects in their art. Robert carves coastal wildlife in cypress, Judith paints in acrylics, makes fused glass and works in sterling silver making various styles of jewelry.
John Nichols from Leeds, Al, uses his love of woodworking to create one of a kind works of art. His pieces display items that are indigenous to the area around the Little Cahaba River. Resin is often used to create works of art that showcase sweet gum wood, walnut shells pinecones, and cedar in truly unique ways.
I was active in art in high school in Indianapolis Indiana. I won several awards, including 500 Festival of Arts 2 honorable mentions and a Hallmark award. College for Art wasn’t in my future for financial reasons. I left home at barely 18. I had a roommate that was a nurse, and I got started in a Respiratory Therapy program at the hospital where she worked. With tuition reimbursement from the hospital, while working full time, I got my degree in Respiratory Therapy. That was my full-time profession from 1974 until 2015 when I retired.
Then I got an easel from my husband for my birthday and started creating art again. I started doing shows, mostly local, up until 2023. It’s hard work!
Now I show my art in a couple of local galleries and do some commissions, mostly pet portraits.
My medium is mostly acrylics and some resin but it’s also fun to try new things. I use lots of color and do mostly coastal themed paintings.
It’s been a fun journey and I’m happy that I reconnected with my art, even later in life.
I hope you enjoy my art.
I am a crochet artist, I hand make clothes, stuffed animals, hanging lights, blankets. Etc. I do custom orders also I paint birdhouse, planters and canvas work
